About us

MechSouth was formed in 2003 by Shane Patterson and Joe Harrison to address the need for a creative, flexible shop capable of handling complicated mechanical work. We will work anywhere in Georgia. Our office is located 1820 Lee Road, Lithia Springs, GA 30122

Joe Harrison is a 1977 graduate of Georgia Tech, with extensive experience in the industrial and heavy commercial construction market throughout the Southeast.

Shane Patterson completed his engineering training at Southern Tech in Marietta.  His background covers extensive commercial work through Georgia

Philosophy

We do not sell our services based on price. When you select MechSouth, you get a total hands-on management approach by one of the owners. There is no delegation of responsibility. We set up the company with this management philosophy in mind; pricing, scheduling, shop drawings, labor supervision, quality control, and all close-out documentation are handled by the same person.

Our philosophy is that we would rather have a small base of 100% satisfied clients, than a constantly changing group who can’t distinguish us from our completion. Put another way, it’s a lot easier to keep a good customer than find a new one.

We are:

• Experienced in all mechanical systems
• Able to handle true design building projects
• Always able to staff your project with the best skilled craftsmen at all times
• Experts in the repair and maintenance of all types of HVAC systems

We are Not

• Sales or volume driven
• A plan/spec low bid contractor
• A mechanical broker who subs our work
• A service or residential HVAC contractor
